Østerbro

The residential area of Østebro is popular among families and business people. It is peaceful with plenty of open spaces and green areas. During the weekends you will spot the active Østerbro dwellers bustling around the flee market on Gunner Nu Hansens Plads or taking in an ample brunch in a cafe by the lakes. The main street Østerbrogade is chock-a-block with shops, and if you venture down the side streets you will find plenty of vintage shops covering all price ranges. Locating restaurants and shops in this afluent area is no problem. Copenhagen's largest park 'Fælledparken' is central to life on Østerbro. It is great for jogging and biking and in summer ideal for picnics. The national stadium ‘Parken’ is situated on Østerbro and hosts football matches, concerts and music events. Surrounding the stadium you will find swimming pools, fitness centers and a running track. Not far from Østerbro are a number of public beaches.

Buses and the local S-trains run through Østerbro and can take you to the rest of Copenhagen.
Regional trains run from Østerport Station to Kastrup Airport.
